Most recently ADS had a client who wanted over 100 flickering candles mounted on gothic stands for a dark ride scene. The client wanted them to look real and exactly like the examples they had seen at a different major attraction. ADS did the thorough R &D necessary to meet this client’s request including consulting with the designer of the existing candles. We decided to improve on the design and moved ahead with our new fabrication process. Although there are many less expensive ways to create this look, hand-made wax candles specially treated to endure being mounted on custom fabricated rod iron metal candlesticks was the perfect solution to make this effect look as authentic as possible. Through quality control all the candles were fabricated, wired, tested and installed well within budget.

Our capabilities range from realistic rockwork to high quality animated or static figures. The Snow Leopards were sculpted, treated and finished over one weekend.

We put this model together in less than two days! Because there was such short notice, we had to use materials that were lying around the shop. Some buildings are transformers, some are made from cardboard for example. It was used to demonstrate our ADS Flyer ride system.
